Attending a Network Marketing Convention can make the difference
It was March 2001 and AmeriPlan® had their Annual Convention in Chicago that year. I was a Regional Sales Director with AmeriPlan® and still worked full time as a Rural Letter Carrier at the Post Office. With four children and considerable debt, I had no intention on attending the Convention that year.
Dennis and Daniel Bloom decided to pre-pay for the convention, for anyone who had a monthly residual check to pay it back. Well, I really like the idea of paying it forward and took the Bloom Brothers up on their offer. I decided I would go to Chicago even if I had to catch the Greyhound.
My AmeriPlan Sponsor was at the Convention as well as other National Sales Directors. When I heard from the Founders of the Company and the Leaders on stage I started to get the vision. The picture of where AmeriPlan® was heading and the incredible potential anyone had who just grabbed the vision.
At that Convention the E-Commerce Replicated Websites were introduced for IBOs. Everything was now in place. With the internet anyone could now do business nationwide on the internet.
I knew that if I got enough people looking, the AmeriPlan® Programs would sell themselves. Real soon my name began appearing on the Top Enrollers list. A Trip to the Bahamas was the next big challenge for me. That was 2002. My wife and I took the trip in Sept 2003 with 25 others who had increased their Residual and Builder’s Bonus by $25,000 during the contest.
Being at the Convention in 2001 was the key factor of accelerating my business with AmeriPlan®, enabling me to quit the Postal Service after 15 years, become a member of the $75,000 President’s Club and winning six out of six of the Top Producer Trips since 2003.
Best advice is to get to the first management level (RSD) and qualify for the Double Eagle Contest. Do your 10 pieces of business and earn a free convention ticket. Do whatever it takes, but get yourself and your team members to the convention in July. It could be the exact edge you need to excel to the Top.
